During the battle in Jezerc (Ferizaj), Sejdi Sejdiu, a fighter of the Kosovo Liberation Army, a martyr, was killed. He was born in the village of Nerodime e Poshtme in Ferizaj, in 1960. In 1982, the District Court in Pristina sentenced him to three years in prison for illegal activity. In 1987 he started working as a teacher in the primary school in Jezerc and Dremjak. In 1993, he emigrated to Switzerland, where he developed activity within the framework of People’s Movement of Kosovo. With the beginning of the war, he returned to Kosovo and was stationed in the Operative Sub-Zone of Pashtrik in Budakovë-Llanisht and then in the village of Jezerc. On September 28, 1998, as the commander of the 2nd point in Jezerc, he was killed in the war together with other comrades. (In the photo: Sejdi Sejdiu)
