Selajdin Mullaabazi, known as “Komandant Mici,” was a member of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) and a martyr in the armed resistance for Kosovo’s liberation. Born in Rahovec, Kosovo, he joined the KLA from the outset of the armed conflict. On May 12, 1998, he took part in the Battle of Bardhatin, where he earned his combat name. On June 8–9, 1998, Mullaabazi contributed to the establishment of a local operational headquarters for the Rahovec battalion. Together with his fellow fighters, he successfully repelled Serbian forces in the “Valley of the Eagles” in Rahovec on July 25, 1998.
