In Trieste (Italy), the issue of the newspaper “Dashamiri i Ri” appeared, a continuation of the newspaper “Dashamiri” (1907-1908), a bi-weekly political, social, cultural, economic and literary newspaper. 8 numbers came out. Mati Logoreci directed both newspapers. The newspaper “Dashamiri” reflected the events of the day in Albania, Austria, Italy and other European and Balkan countries; supported the idea of Albania’s autonomy within the framework of the Ottoman Empire; opposed the chauvinistic aims of the neighboring Balkan kingdoms; raised the issues of cultural, economic and political development of the country and the spread of the Albanian language and schools in all Albanian territories.
