On April 27, 1924 , the first issue of the newspaper “Tirana” (1924-1925), a weekly political and literary newspaper, was published in Tirana. After issue 16 (1924), the newspaper was banned, but on October 9, 1924, its management team published the newspaper “Liria”, which continued for 57 issues. In number 58, it took the name “Tirana” again and continued with 95 issues until 1925. The newspaper “Tirana” propagated the development of Albania and Albanian people through peaceful evolution. During Fan Noli’s government (1924) maintained an impartial position; during 1925, dealt with issues of state organization and the improvement of people’s lives.
