In the battle of Loxha (Kosovo), Rrustem Bruçi, a fighter of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Hero of Kosovo, was killed. He was born in the village of Isniq in the municipality of Deçan, in 1958. He completed his studies at the Law Faculty of the University of Pristina (1984). In October 1988, he started working at the Municipal Court for Misdemeanors, in Deçan. In October 1990, he was appointed a member of the group of lawyers who would harmonize the statute of the municipality of Deçan with the Constitution of Kaçanik. Due to the serious situation in Kosovo, he emigrated to Germany in 1994. In June 1998, with the beginning of the liberation war, he returned to Kosovo and joined the ranks of the Kosovo Liberation Army. He fell heroically in the battle of Lojha. The President of Kosovo decorated him with the “Hero of Kosovo” Order. (In the photo: Rrustem Bruçi)
