Lexo ngjarje:

Near “King Zog I” Boulevard, the statue of Queen Geraldine was inaugurated. The statue was erected in honor of the countess from Hungary, on the 20th anniversary of her death. The countess was born in Budapest, on August 6, 1915, when the fall of the Austro-Hungarian Empire had begun. She finished the English school in Menton, France, and then the “Sacred Heart” college of Pressbaum, in Austria, where she completed the faculty of social and financial sciences. On April 27, 1938, she was crowned by King Zog I, but left Albania as queen only a year later, when the Italian occupation of the country began. (In the photo: Queen Geraldine’s Statute.)
