In Strigari (ital. San Cosmo Albanese) of Calabria (Italy), the researcher and writer Kozmo Serembe, grandson of the poet Zef Serembe, was born. He is the author of the works “Kënke lirije” (“Freedom Songs”), “Aleksandri i madh shqiptar” (“The Great Albanian Alexander”), “Për kërkimin e varrit të Skënderbeut” (“For the search of Skanderbeg’s grave”), and other studies, which he published mainly in the magazine “La nazione Albanese” and in his notebook “Albania leteraria”. After his death, the poem “Këngët e Kryjës” was published. (In the photo: View from Strigari village.)
