Dom Ndre Zadeja, martyr of the Catholic Church, was shot in Shkodër. After completing primary and secondary school, he entered the Shkodra Seminary and went to Innsbruck, Austria. He was ordained a priest in Shkodra on April 24, 1916. He was the secretary of the archbishop of Shkodra, Monsignor Jak Serreqi; deputy parish priest of the cathedral church of Shkodra; vicar of Barbullushi (Shkodër), Boga (Peja), Shkreli and Sheldi (Shkodër). He was arrested in Sheldi and imprisoned in Shkodër on February 4, 1945. He was sentenced to death without trial and was shot. (In the photo: Dom Ndre Zadeja)
