On April 20, 1881 , in the village of Slivovë in Ferizaj, Mic Sokoli (1839-1881), fighter of the Albanian League of Prizren (1878), Hero of the People, was killed. He was born in Fang of Bujan (Tropojë). Led large fighting units of the League in many battles. He participated in the battles of Gjakova against Mehmet Ali Pasha; distinguished himself in the battle of Nokšić against the Montenegrin aggressors; fought in Plavë and Guci, in Hot, Grudë, Tuz, Prizren, Gjakovë, Ferizaj, Gjilan, Skopje. In the battle of Slivova (April 1881) against the Ottoman forces of Dervish Pasha, he performed a rare act of bravery by jumping on the enemy cannon, where he was killed.
