Father Agustin Ashiku was born in Shkodër, Catholic cleric, definer of the Albanian Franciscan Province (1952–1955), Provincial of the Franciscans (1958–1967).
On June 21, 1958, he was elected Provincial of the Franciscans. He was re-elected to the same post on June 22, 1961. With the closing of the Assembly, he took refuge with his cousins, where he lived until he passed away on September 16, 1986. He was buried in Stom-Golem (Shkodër). (In the photo: Agustin Ashiku)
