Sokol Angjeli, actor, was born in Tirana. He graduated from the High Institute of Arts in 1976. He started working as an actor in the People’s Theatre. In 1986, he completed a one-year course in screenwriting and directing at the Higher Institute of Arts. His acting tends mostly to comedies of humor, satire and comedy, even with a preference for the grotesque, although he has often played roles of a dramatic and psychological nature, where an inner presence of direct feeling can be seen. There is also a physical dynamism, with sudden bursts. Freely uses sarcasm, elements of exaggeration, but fused into a believable demeanor and action. He has completed several projects and collaborations with televisions, where he has performed the role of director, reciter, actor and presenter. (In the photo: Sokol Angjeli)
