Guljelm Radoja, theater and cinematographer, Merited Artist, was born in Shkodër. After higher studies in 1967, he worked for one year in Librazhd and three years as a director in the Professional Estrada of Fier. In 1971, he was appointed an actor at the “Aleksandër Moisiu” theater in Durrës until 1996; from this year onwards he is an actor at the National Theater as well as an acting teacher at the Academy of Arts. In the theater, both from Albanian dramaturgy and world dramaturgy, he has played positive characters, usually of a heroic-romantic nature, creating his own model, liked by the public. Guljem Radoja has become beloved by the public, especially in cinematography, where he has created 35 roles. He stood out with the role of the photographer in the film “Shtigje Lufte” (“War Paths“), 1974, to go more clearly towards a safe career with the role of Tenente Gruabardhi in “Ne Fillim te Veres” (“At the beginning of summer”), 1975. Guljem Radoja is an actor with grace, sweet, contained in words and gestures; has an attractive portrait that evokes sympathy and suits the roles of noble people; it stands out for the logic of the word, which is often intertwined with a look that is sometimes clear, sometimes full of implications, where the clarity of thought and inner calm stand out.
