The III Congress of Bektashi gathered in Korça. This congress decided the final organization of the Bektashian Tariqat in Albania and established the National Headquarters in Albania with the Headfather Sali Njazi Dede. In the new Statute approved at the congress, the Bektashian Community was sanctioned as a legal entity; the Albanian language as the official religious language; the creation of quarters (a total of six quarters were approved as territorial units: the Quarters of Kruja, Elbasan, Frashër, Korça, Prishtë and Gjirokastra, centered on the respective tekke); the religious hierarchy, which consisted of the headfather, parents, dervishes and religious officials; The council that drew up the budget and controlled the administrative and financial side of the community; the leaders of the Tariqat had to be Albanian citizens from the tribe of the language. In 1930, the Ministry of Justice approved the Bektashi Statute, giving it legal force. In March 1930, Ahmet Zog announced the appointment of His Grace Sali Njazi Dede as Headfather of the Albanian Bektashi. The center of the World Bektashi Headquarters was in Teqe of Turan and at the end of 1930, it was located in Teqe of Melçan. In May 1937, by decision of the Holy Ancestral Council, it was transferred to the new building in Tirana, where it is still today. (In the photo: Delegates of the III Bektashi Congress.)
