The first issue of the newspaper “Drita” (“The Light”), organ of the League of Writers and Artists of Albania, was published. This weekly newspaper contained many materials on the cultural, literary and artistic life of the country. The Association of Writers and Artists of Albania was an organization of creators that brought together writers, composers, and creators of visual arts.
