Dom Mark Gjani, clergyman, martyr of the Catholic Church, was born in Saint George of Montenegro, which at that time belonged to the Diocese of Shkodra. He was ordained a priest in Italy on March 21, 1942. Parish priest of Oroshi and Kalivari of Mirdita. Secretary of Mr. Frano Gjin. He was arrested in Kalivar and imprisoned in Shpal, in 1947.
