Father Gegë Lumaj, a Catholic clergyman, died in Plan Dukagjin. He was born in Plan of Dukagjin, in 1904. He completed his primary and secondary education at the Franciscan college of Shkodra, while his higher education in Rome. He was ordained on July 12, 1931. He served as a parish priest in Shosh, Mertur, Shkodër and Iballe in Puka (1943–1945). He was arrested twice and spent 20 years in prison. He passed away in 1990, in Plan, and was buried in the chapel of the village cemetery. (In the photo: Gegë Lumaj)
