In Podgorica, the patriot Isa Boletini was treacherously killed by Montenegrin chauvinists, together with his two sons, Halil and Hazid, grandsons, Jonuz and Halit, and three other Albanian fighters. He was only 17 years old, when he participated in the battles that the units of the “Prizren League” fought against the Ottoman forces. One of the founders and leaders of the “Albanian League of Peja” (1899), one of the organizers of the Assembly of Ferizaj (1908). During the Assembly of Vlora (1912) he supported Ismail Qemali in raising the flag and organized the armed forces for the protection of the Provisional Government of Vlora and the reborn Albanian state.
