Zef (Giuseppe) de Rada, the first son of the poet Jeronim de Rada, passed away. He was born in Macchia Albanese of Calabria (Italy), in 1852. In the years 1869-1870 he studied at the college of Corigliano-Calabro, Italy. In 1871 he published in Florence “The Grammar of the Albanian Language”. This publication attracted the attention of foreign researchers and albanologists, such as Mikosic, Mejer, etc. Zef de Rada also published several poems, in which the motif of love prevails. He wrote several fairy tales in prose. He passed away at the age of 31. (In the photo: Zef de Rada)
