The shooter, Merited Master of Sports, Elisabeta Karabolli (Nishica), represented Albania in Germany and was declared European champion in air pistol. Elisabeta Karabolli was born in Tirana, in 1958. She practiced shooting in the 30+30 pistol competition in the “Partizani“ (“The partisan”) sports club (1972-1984) and in the “Studenti“ (“The Student”) sports club (1992-2000). She won several gold and silver medals in the Balkan championships of 1982, 1984, 1992, 1996. She participated in three European championships, winning bronze medals (1977, Rome); silver medal (1978, Finland) and European champion title (1979, Germany, 587 points).
