In Worcester (USA), the first issue of the newspaper “Sazani” (1917-1918), a biweekly political and social newspaper, was published. It was published in Albanian and English. 8 issues continued intermittently, until March 26, 1918. “Sazani” newspaper propagated the unification of the patriotic forces of the Albanian colonies of America in the “Vatra“ (“Hearth”) federation and keeping national feelings alive. The newspaper from time to time also reflected the activities of other Albanian colonies in the United States of America. (In the photo: Front page of “Sazani” newspaper.)
