Koci Bako, anti-fascist activist, Hero of the People, was killed in Korça. Born in Korça, in 1905. One of the oldest members of the communist group of Korça. In 1938 he was arrested and tortured for communist propaganda and activity against the regime of that time. In April 1939, he participated in the demonstrations against the fascist occupation of Albania. He was killed at while heading the anti-fascist demonstration that was organized in Korça.
